The Aselsan REHİS Gölbaşı Facilities Stage 2 Project to be implemented under the leadership of Aselsan Construction and Real Estate Directorate, Entegre Proje Yönetim ve Danışmanlık Tic. A.Ş as the Advisor and YDA Construction as the Main Contractor, has been designed as a high-security building with a total construction area of approximately 52,633 m2. Circulations in the building are clearly defined. The entrance to the office areas and the entrance to the laboratory / production / test areas are designed to be made from separate blocks in the project. These blocks have controlled connections between each other. The protocol entrance is separated from the personnel and visitor entrances. Curtain wall systems, aluminum composite panel coatings, fiber reinforced concrete panels, and sandwich panels are used in the project.
The connection between facade and interior has been developed so that horizontal circulation areas can benefit from daylight. Interiors are flexibly designed to meet the dynamic structure of the institution. In the office and laboratory blocks, pocket cafeterias and terrace/rest areas have been created to meet the staff’s need for a break. Land delivery of the REHİS Gölbaşı new office – production and test areas STAGE 2 project for ASELSAN, the largest defense electronics company in Turkey, was made on 14 October 2020. Project duration is 360 days, and the progress rate is 55 % as of the end of June 2021.
