Established in 2009 in Dikili-Bergama, İzmir for the cultivation of cluster tomatoes, YDA Tarım has created a distinctive project in Turkey with its geothermal-heated, MISTING fogging climate control system-equipped greenhouses, operating with next-generation full automation technology.

The greenhouse tomatoes produced by YDA Tarım using cutting-edge technology are exported year-round to the global food industry and major retail chains. Exporting primarily to Germany, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Moldova, Northern Europe, and the Balkan countries, as well as many other parts of the world, YDA Tarım continues to make short-, medium-, and long-term strategic investments to elevate Turkish agriculture to the top of the global market.

Within YDA Agriculture, solar energy system established in 2016 meets the facility’s energy needs while selling excess electricity back to the grid.

Biological partners

We practice agriculture without resorting to chemicals in our greenhouses, but we employ the help of Bombus terrestris bees for the pollination of tomato flowers, and predators such as Nesidiocoris tenuis to fight pests.
